Was brought up on Elvis, and this in turn opened my ears to all types of music over the years, MJ in his heyday, AC/DC with Bonn at the helm, Tom, Jerry, Roy, Carl, Sammy, Ella, Stevie Ray, Zappa, Freddy, and always back to Elvis. I was a DJ in a commercial club environment in the 80's, which killed a lot of my appreciation for music now. Within most of today's popular music there is a hint of everything I've heard before, a lick, a beat, a sample, and yet a world wide number one can to this day include an electric hand clap. I enjoy most loud music and the buzz of discovering new music that hits the aural sweet spot :)
