The songs in this playlist are ones that are either about the summer season, remind you of the summer season by containing summertime themes (e.g. boats, beaches, swimming, surfing, sunshine, etc.), or have the word 'summer' (or some variation of the word 'summer') in their title. You may not find a more thorough summertime playlist anywhere. Five songs that I'd like to add to this playlist but cannot because finetune.com doesn't provide them in its library: - "Hot Summer Nights" by Night (1979) - "Almost Summer" by Celebration featuring Mike Love (1978) - "Beautiful Sunday" by Daniel Boone (1972) - "Sunny Days" by Lighthouse (1972) - "The First Day Of Summer" by Tony Carey (1984) Note: I included the David Lee Roth version of "California Girls" in the playlist rather than the original (and far superior) version by The Beach Boys because of finetune's limitation to only 3 songs per artist per playlist, and because there were 3 other Beach Boys tunes that I just had to include.
