Chiodos
Although often tagged as hardcore or post-hardcore, Michigan-based sextet Chiodos embrace the melodic complexity of prog, the guitar riffology of metal, the vocal expressiveness of emo, and the free-spirited ethos of classic punk. After several self-released EPs, the band was signed to punk label Equal Vision in 2005 and released two ambitious albums that cracked the Billboard Top 200. To support the releases, the band has toured with every major punk band in America, and played the coveted main stage on the 13th Warped Tour.
