Keith Carradine
b. 8 August 1949, San Mateo, California, USA, Keith Carradine is the son of actor John Carradine, the brother of Robert Carradine and the half-brother of David Carradine, both well known actors. An actor himself, he made a name for himself with a number of roles in the late 70s and early 80s, including The Duellists, Pretty Baby, The Long Riders and Southern Comfort. His 1975 appearance in the movie Nashville, as rock star Tom Frank, featured Carradine singing "I'm Easy". The song was released on ABC Records the following year and reached number 17 in the US charts, eventually winning an Oscar for Best Song. An album of the same title, on Asylum Records, reached number 61. Carradine continued to record sporadically, and starred in the 1991 Broadway musical The Will Rogers Follies, but remains better known as an actor.
