Every Time I Die
Playing a breakneck fusion of metalcore and screamo, this Buffalo, New York-based US band was formed in 1999 by Keith Buckley (vocals), Andrew Williams (guitar), Jordan Buckley (guitar), Aaron Ratajczak (bass) and Sean Hughes (drums). The following year's Burial Plot Bidding War EP was released on the independent label Good Fellow Records, and earned the band good notices on the hardcore circuit. A new contract with the respected independent label Ferret Music followed, and with new drummer Michael Novak on board the band released Last Night In Town in 2001. The album tempered with the metalcore blueprint to include moments of melodic subtlety amid the chaotic guitars and screamed vocals.
