b. Decatur, Georgia, USA. Born and raised in a seminary campus, gospel singer Don Francisco attended church regularly in his childhood. His full conversion to born again Christianity took place in 1974, after which he began to write his own praise songs. His first album, Brother Of The Sun, followed for NewPax Records in 1975. However, neither this nor the subsequent Forgiven managed to create much of an impression beyond the southern states gospel community. He was noticeably more quiet in the 80s but was once again making the Billboard chart in 2004.
