Damian
b. Damian Davey, 30 September 1964, Manchester, England. Singer and entertainer Damian first attracted attention on the north-west cabaret, club and disco scene in the late 80s. His debut single "(Let's Do) The Timewarp", which he recorded in response to demand generated by his club audiences, made the Top 10 in 1989. The song was taken from the film/musical The Rocky Horror Show. Its 1990 follow-up, "Wigwam Bam", while less successful in the UK, featured in the Japanese charts in that year. He has numerous UK television appearances to his credit, including Top Of The Pops, The Chart Show and The Hit Man And Her, and aside from club and television appearances in his familiar flamboyant role as a glamorously dressed, and at times mildly outrageous singer/entertainer, has featured in acting roles.
