finetune artist: Jesse McCartney

b. 9 April 1987, New York City, New York, USA. This pop singer made his way through the world of children's television and boy bands to enjoy mainstream success with his 2004 solo debut, Beautiful Soul. The son of trained actors, McCartney started off in local community theatre before landing a role in the Broadway production of The King And I at the age of nine. He first appeared on television in 1998 as Adam Chandler Jnr. in All My Children and continued to perform on and off-Broadway. He sang with vocal group Sugar Beats before joining boy band Dream Street, recording, touring and enjoying minor US success with both outfits.
