Butch Walker
Although he didn't bust out as a solo artist until after the millennium, Georgia's Butch Walker has since the 1980s been a factor on the L.A. music scene, where he purveyed gritty glam-infused rock with his bands SouthGang and Marvelous 3, and worked behind the scenes as a song doctor and producer for acts ranging from Pink and Christina Aguilera to the Donnas and Fall Out Boy. Secure in his career as a songwriter to the stars, Walker became free to put out albums as a lark, and clearly enjoys his stage and recording persona as the freewheeling, chameleonic power-glam star.

After a successful stint with Marvelous 3 and scoring a major hit with Freak of the Week, Butch Walker's solo work is amazing. I love this guy!
