A native of upstate New York, young singer-songwriter Gavin DeGraw garnered attention with his 2003 debut, CHARIOT, a confident collection of R&B-tinged rock. Appended with a bonus disc of acoustic performances, DeGraw's album stayed in regular radio rotation for nearly three years, while his introspective hit single "I Don't Want to Be" was selected as the theme song for the popular teen TV drama ONE TREE HILL. Almost five full years after CHARIOT's release, DeGraw finally unveiled his highly anticipated self-titled sophomore album.
