Bone Crusher
b. Wayne Hardnett. This Atlanta, Georgia, USA-based rapper broke into the mainstream charts in 2003 owing to the popularity of "Never Scared". Taking his moniker from his hefty 300lb plus frame, Bone Crusher first registered on the rap scene in the mid-90s as part of the Atlanta-based Lyrical Giants aka the LGs. Although this outfit only ever enjoyed success on the local underground market, they gained a reputation as lyricists of note enabling the various members to find work writing for other rappers. Bone Crusher placed rhymes with artists such as Too $hort and the Dungeon Family during this period, but economic necessity meant he was required to work as a chef to supplement his income.
