Alexandre Pires
b. Alexandre Pires do Nascimento, 8 January 1976, Uberlndia, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Pires and his older brother, Fernando, sang from early childhood. While still in his mid-teens he became a founding member of the pop group S¢ Pra Contrariar. Within a decade, the group was a hit throughout Latin America and could boast a string of successful singles and albums.
