Conceived, written and directed by Don Scardino, Lennon tells the story of John Lennon in his own words and songs. Among the songs, music and lyrics by Lennon, were "Mother", "Look At Me", "Instant Karma", "Real Love", "Oh My Love", "Mind Games", "How Do You Sleep?", "God", "Give Peace A Chance", "New York City", "Power To The People", "Woman Is The Nigger Of The World", "Whatever Gets You Through The Night", "Beautiful Boy", "Watching The Wheels", "Grow Old With Me", and "Imagine". Also included were two unpublished songs "India, India" and "I Don't Want To Lose You" as well as the little known "Cookin' (In The Kitchen Of Love)". Non-Lennon songs were "Money" (Berry Gordy and Janie Bradford) and "Twist And Shout" (Bert Russell and Phil Medley). There were also two songs on which he collaborated, "The Ballad Of John And Yoko" (with Paul McCartney) and "I'm Losing You/I'm Moving On" (with Yoko Ono).
