Jeff Carson
b. 16 December 1964, Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA. The 90s US country singer Jeff Carson was a struggling bass player in Branson, Missouri, before his wife persuaded him to move to Nashville. He worked there as a demo singer for three years until producer Chuck Howard heard his material, leading to a publishing deal with Curb Records. He made his debut solo album in 1995 and the singles "Not On Your Love" and "The Car", both reached the US country chart. Curb have long-term faith in his ability to become a major star. His problem is not a shortage of good songs, merely the lack of any image. Duetting with Merle Haggard on "Today I Started Loving You Again' (from 1997"s Here's The Deal) did little to remedy the situation.
