  Makaveli(aka 2Pac)created a rap style that bridged the gap between the commercial hip hop and the street rap enthusiasts. His tracks appeal to both male and female rap fans alike, as he easily and flawlessly blends the party anthem with the thugged out West Coast style with the inspirtational, educational stylings of '80's era concious rap, forever changing the way that rap artists construct their albums. A fine example of the influence 2Pac had on the genre. Also was the last album he ever recorded (although several albums were released after his death in 1996)
