Cathy Fink
b. Cathy Ann Fink, 9 August 1953, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Fink learned to play guitar, fiddle, banjo, accordion and the art of yodelling and first played on CBC Canada radio in 1974. Her main interest was folk music, until she became a student at McGill University, Montreal, where she became devoted to bluegrass and old-time. She formed an old-time duo with Duck Donald and from 1974-79, they toured Canada and recorded. She later claimed, "We learned every old time duet that had ever came out and had a repertoire of five or six hundred old time duets".
