From the Bahamas, this R&B band consisted of brothers Raphael "Ray" (organ), Liroy "Roy" (guitar) and Frank "Bud" Munnings (drums), along with Fred Henfield (bass), and is a classic one-hit-wonder, having had only one hit, "Funky Nassau - Part 1", on the R&B chart (number 7) and pop chart (number 15) in 1974. In the UK it reached number 31. "Funky Nassau" was performed in a Bahamian style called juko, which combined R&B with the beat of West Indies music.
