Domingo Quinones
b. 9 August 1963, Perth Amboy, New Jersey, USA. While still a small child, Qui¤ones moved with his family to Puerto Rico and was raised for about 10 years in Ceiba. In 1977 he was back in the USA, settling in New York City where he developed his musical skills, in particular his singing. When he was 20 he became a member of Conjunto Nativo, and during the next two or three years sang with several bands in the increasingly popular salsa genre. These bands included those led by Rafael de Jes£s, Jos "El Canario" Alberto, Johnny "Dandy" Rodr¡guez and the Conjunto Cl sico, Luis "Perico" Ortiz, Louie Ram¡rez and Roberto Roena.
