In 1978, the brothers Adolfo (b. Adolfo ngel Alba, 1 September 1963, Mexico; vocals/keyboards) and Gustavo ngel (b. 1968, Mexico; vocals) formed a group they named Conjunto La Brisa. They made some 45s and then, in the early 80s, were joined by their cousin, Fernando ngel (b. 1963, Mexico; vocals/bass). Renaming the group Los Temerarios, they made their first album under this name. Adolfo is generally accepted as the principal force behind the group's formation and success. Musicians including Karlo Vidal and Jonathan Armabilis often augment the trio for tours and recording sessions.
