The pre-eminent Cajun band of the 1980s and '90s (in fact, they kicked off a Cajun music revival with an appearance in the hit film THE BIG EASY), Beausoleil has recorded some of the genre's most exciting and eclectic music. The heart of the group is fiddler extraordinaire Michael Doucet who succesfully combines tradition and innovation.

  It makes my heart sing, ( Zydeco ), I am yankee but a southerner at heart, lived in Misissippi,Florida and now living North Carolina. Zydeco is n unknown art,it is not supplied by DJ's in other parts of this country and it needs more exposure
