Martin Denny
Martin Denny invented the musical genre known as "exotica" in the '50s by adding ethnic instruments and nature sounds to his unique brand of light, jazz-influenced instrumental pop. Denny is now regarded as a forefather of the "lounge" movement. He passed away at his Hawaii home in 2005 at the ripe old age of 93, with a rich legacy of accomplishments behind him.
