Boymerang is the alter ego of Bark Psychosis' Graham Sutton. Sutton, based in London, England, is among a new generation of UK artists attracted to the possibilities of jungle in the mid-90s - hardcore and techno having hit a creative cul de sac and "become the new puritans of the dance scene". Fascinated by this nascent movement, Sutton started to patronize north London's Lucky Spin hardcore shop, buying many of the anonymous white label 12-inches, eventually deciding to experiment himself. Having previously programmed tracks for Bark Psychosis, he applied that knowledge to produce the Boymerang EP in early 1995. Released on Leaf Records, his input into the jungle scene, rather than creating suspicion, was widely welcomed, and engendered a sizeable genre hit. Sutton also contributes to an ambient "chill out" show on the Kiss FM radio station and plays sets at some of the UK capital's more adventurous clubs.
