The Paris Sisters
US vocal trio Priscilla (b. 1945, d. 5 March 2004, Paris, France), Albeth and Sherrell Paris began their long recording career in 1954, but did not achieve chart success until the following decade when they joined Gregmark, a short-lived label co-owned by Lee Hazlewood. The trio completed five singles for the outlet, each of which was produced by Phil Spector. Although "I Love How You Love Me" reached number 5 in the US chart in 1961, other releases in the same feather-light style failed to emulate its success. The sisters nonetheless enjoyed a prolific career, latterly abandoning their conservative image with several excellent recordings under the aegis of Spector's arranger Jack Nitzsche, and a superb rendition of "Greener Days", composed by David Gates.
