b. Tijs Verwest, 17 January 1969, Breda, Netherlands. Tisto is one of a crop of Dutch and German DJs whose euphoric, melodic style of trance saw their stars rise with the surge in the style's popularity during 1999. Along with Ferry Corsten, Vincent De Moor, Armin Van Buuren, Paul Van Dyk, Oliver Lieb, Taucher and others, Tisto's productions and DJing could be found on numerous compilations and in the major clubs of Europe.
