Legendary Pink Dots
Defying categorization at every turn, England's enigmatic Legendary Pink Dots create a puzzling amalgam of pop, folk, industrial, and tape-collage chaos that is psychedelic in the purest sense of the word. The band formed in the late 1970s and have released a series of albums that are as meticulously crafted as they are sonically mercurial. While their sound doesn't easily line up with more traditional industrial acts, in terms of scope and vision the band share much with Psychic TV, Nurse With Wound, Current 93, and other adventurous post-punk acts.
