Bile
The early 90s saw a brutal form of rock dubbed industrial music infiltrate the mainstream, with US bands such as Ministry and Nine Inch Nails blasting their way out of the underground to score big hits. As a result, countless outfits subsequently appeared that shared the aforementioned bands appreciation of heavy riffs and distorted electronics, including the appropriately titled Bile. Originating from Long Island, New York, USA, Bile was formed in 1992. Led by vocalist/guitarist KRZTOFF, the band has seen countless members come and go through their lengthy career, but through it all their harsh sound (which KRZTOFF has titled "demonic electronic') and approach has remained intact. Although Bile is best experienced on the concert stage (early on, the band's members hid behind masks, while utilizing television sets to flash ghastly images during their performances), they have issued studio albums on a steady basis starting with 1994"s classic Suckpump. They have shared the stage with bands including Marilyn Manson, Korn, GWAR and Stabbing Westward.
