Jill O'Hara
b. 12 March 1947, Warren, Pennsylvania, USA. O'Hara comes from a showbusiness family. Her brother Jack O'Hara (b. John Burton O'Hara, December 1945) is an actor and musician (a former member of 70s band Eggs Over Easy) and her older sister Jenny O'Hara (b. 24 February 1942, Sonora, California, USA) is a successful television and movie actress. In 1967 Jill O'Hara appeared in the New York Festival Production of Hair and the following year took the role of Agnes Nolan in the musical George M!, which starred Joel Grey as George M. Cohan. Later in 1968, O'Hara took the leading role of Fran Kubelik in Burt Bacharach and Hal David's Promises, Promises for which she was nominated for a Tony Award as Best Actress In A Musical, and won the Theatre World Award. In 1989, utilizing her rich and expressive voice, O'Hara began a career in cabaret.
