Kris Kristofferson
In the 1970s, Kris Kristofferson changed the direction of Nashville with his poetic, irreverent songs. Influenced by rock, unafraid to write about carnal pleasures, and a dyed-in-the-wool rebel, he fit right in with the blossoming "outlaw country" aesthetic. Kristofferson was much more successful as a songwriter than as a performer, and his songs have been recorded by Johnny Cash, Janis Joplin, and countless others.

Mr. Kristofferson has a complex life army ranger, actor, musician, political activist, writer, poet, am I missing anything? He has the voice of the common person, which makes his music accessible. I think he has an Awesome voice. Plus he can probably kick anybody's a**!

Pittsburg, I fully disagree! I am just a regular 25 year old dude, and I love music from the seventies. Smoking a blunt and sitting around with some buddies (I'm gay, so cute dudes would rock too!) and just listening to this shit rocks. He's got a great voice. Peace.
