An Atlanta, Georgia-based crew, The Ghetto Mafia are, as their name implies, a hardcore rap outfit, relentlessly exploring the life cycle of the young, alienated black man. The group is fronted by the twin rapping talents of Nino and Wicked. The lead-off single for their debut album, "Everday Thang In The Hood", introduced guest vocals by MC Breed, who also produced the album. These were nothing if not controversial songs - "Mr President" talking about not only assasinating the President, but wiping out his whole family for good measure.
