finetune artist: Foo Fighters

Unbeknownst to most Nirvana fans, drummer David Grohl was also a singer/guitarist/songwriter who wrote numerous songs on his own during his tenure with the band. After Kurt Cobain's death in 1994, Grohl decided to head out on his own and formed the Foo Fighters, where he assumed frontman duties. Virtually an instant success, the Foos reflected Grohl's former band's melodic-punk-pop, though with a somewhat lighter attitude.

Taylor is an awesome drummer! I agree about there goes my hero! Although we have decided that that song is to be played at my brothers funeral! Hes a big fan too. Hope you get your tickets Menforpower. I was gutted when i missed them at Reading but fortunately i managed to see them in Hyde park on the Queens bday! Ha! 85000 ppl squashing me a tiny lil blonde girl against the security fencing at the front! Now that was AMAZING! I love them! Saw Motorhead at the same Gig! Amazing!

I would have given my soul to have been at the TORONTO gig ( Every Where But Home video ) - must have watched it 1000 times or more! Can't get over Taylor Hawkins druming for a small fella, earnt his money that night/day: I reckon "There Goes My Hero" is a tribute to Cobian and maybe "All My Lfe". I've got the FF tattoo on my neck-well smart! There doing a small one off gig in London tonight 6th July, I know venue, fingers crossed I should get a ticket? ( should read my email everyday ). From a TRUE FOO FAN FOR EVERLONG!
