Finley Quaye
Finley Quaye (brother of famed session guitarist Caleb Quaye and son of British jazzman Cab Quaye) grew up on jazz, but became a big name on the British 1990s music scene with a mix of reggae, trip-hop, and Britpop. He released his first album in 1993, but it was his '97 album, MAVERICK A STRIKE, that made him a star in the U.K. In 2004 he enjoyed a major hit with the tune "Dice," recorded with William Orbit and Beth Orton. Subsequently, Quaye moved his base of operations to Berlin.
