Tilt
Tilt was formed in late 1995 by Mick Park, Mick Wilson (known as the DJing team Parks And Wilson) and John Graham, who also records and remixes under the name Quivver. Graham signed a recording contract with Virgin Records as Stone Proof. Described by the UK's Ministry magazine as a "trance supergroup', Tilt released five excellent tracks on Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Records label before signing to Hooj Choons when Perfecto parted company with East West Records in 1998. Their tracks have been favourites in the sets of DJs such as Sasha and Paul Van Dyk. Tilt's multi-layered melodic trance mirrored the sound perfected by the latter DJ, and Van Dyk later worked with them on "Rendezvous" and "Invisible". In March 1999, they released a fuel-injected version of the Robert Miles anthem "Children" which provided the track with new dynamism and a stronger trance sound. They began assembling material for an album release on Hooj, and in April 1999 released the single "Invisible".
