Chicane is the recording name used by dance musician/producer Nick Bracegirdle (b. 28 February 1971, Chalfont St. Giles, Buckinghamshire, England). As Chicane, his reputation was established in the late 90s on the strength of several lush, melodic singles, particularly "Offshore", "Sunstroke", "Strong In Love" and "Saltwater" on Alex Gold's Xtravaganza Recordings. As Disco Citizens, he also performed numerous remixes for high-profile artists such as BT, Everything But The Girl, B*Witched, Bryan Adams, and Billie Ray Martin.
