The Carpenters
The brother and sister duo of Karen and Richard Carpenter were purveyors of a exquisitely crafted pop sound that garnered them a enormous string of Top 10 hits in the 1970s. Employing first-call sidemen, compositions from top writers like Bacharach-David and Paul Williams, and innovative, harmony-laden production, Richard Carpenter created an ideal, wonderfully slick bed for Karen's angelic voice. Unfortunately remembered almost as much for Karen's 1982 anorexia-related death as for their music, the Carpenters brought a truly innovative sound to the soft-rock genre.

Carpenters,Eagles,Bread,Gerry Rafferty,America, Steely Dan,and 38 Special. I love them all, because, i grew up to their music. Brings back alot of memories. Wish i could relive those days.
