Bobby Darin
Bronx-born singer and songwriter Bobby Darin was always a man who bucked convention. Though he started out writing and singing rock & roll hits such as "Splish Splash" in the 1950s, he stood out from the crowd in the '60s as a post-Sinatra crooner. By the end of the decade, he had reinvented himself yet again, as a credible writer and interpreter of folk-rock material, often of a social-protest nature. The multi-talented Darin also had numerous successful film roles in the '60s, and continued performing until his 1973 death from a heart condition.

My partner is a huge fan of Bobby Darin, every wekk when we go to karaoke he always sings one of Bobby's most popular songs, 'Mack The Knife' and he can really sing like Bobby too, i have to listen to the cd almost everyday but it doesn't really bother me because oldies are my favourite songs although i am only 21.
