Saving Abel
Formed in their home-town of Corinth, Mississippi by vocalist Jared Weeks and guitarist Jason Null, this US alternative rock band expanded its line-up with the addition of Scott Bartlett (guitar), Daniel Dwight (bass), and Blake Dixon (drums). Their self-titled debut album was released in 2006 through producer Skidd Mills' Skiddco Music label. The blend of southern rock and alternative metal attracted the interest of Virgin Records, and after barely a year spent touring their debut album the band had signed a major label contract. With new bass player Eric Taylor added to the line-up and Mills again present as producer, the band's 2008 debut for Virgin reprised four songs from its predecessor alongside seven new tracks, the most notable of which was the minor hit single ?Addicted?.
