Clint Brown
b. 1950, Eastleigh, Hampshire, England. Playing guitar since the mid-60s, Flegg played locally before going to London where in spare time from studying at Imperial College he became well known on the folk circuit. Among bands he played in were Matrix and Thamesis. His musical interests widened and he began appealing to blues and jazz fans. He worked with violinist Dick Powell in a jazz group and also played with bands led by Bob Guthry, Dick Williams and Dick Laurie. By the 00s, Flegg was principally playing jazz.
