Aliados De La Sierra
This Chicago, Illinois, USA-based band was formed in January 2007 by Sergio "Hershey" Federico (vocals), Jos Luis Muro (vocals), Eduardo Navar (keyboards), Roberto Tello (saxophone, keyboards, guitar), Pedro Celis (saxophone), Ad n Cervantes (percussion) and Juan Alfredo Rosas (percussion). Their repertoire is centred upon duranguense, which they perform with flair and conviction. All band members had experience with other groups before teaming up as Aliados De La Sierra, some having worked with Alacranes Musical, Brazeros Musical and Banda Kerembe. Aliados De La Sierra have performed throughout the USA, appearing at dances, festivals and on radio and television, attracting admiring audiences from those sections of the community that relate to the music of Mexico. Late in 2007, two of the band's members, Federico and Cervantes, performed as the duo Hershey.
