Dream Evil
b. Robert Kujawa, c.1925, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA, d. 9 April 2008, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. After playing piano, Kames first played organ while in the military during World War II. Following his discharge, from 1946 he played Hammond organ in clubs and hotels. In 1949, he composed and recorded "You Are My One True Love", which was a hit and was also recorded by Bobby Vinson and Lawrence Welk. Another song, "High Life Polka", was used as an advertising theme by Miller Brewing and was recorded by Welk, with whom Kames became a regular guest. From the mid-50s, Kames recorded polka music extensively for several labels and had many successful releases.
