Employing a tap dancer for percussion, yet escaping any trace of gimmickry, Omaha, Nebraska's Tilly and the Wall, cohorts of Conner Oberst (aka Bright Eyes), cobble together female-male harmonies, folk sensibility, and elements of various styles that span the globe for a jaunty sound dangling just off the edge of indie rock.
