Swedish indie rockers Peter Bjorn and John were arguably the biggest breakthrough underground act of 2006, partly based on the strength of their single "Young Folks," which featured vocals (and whistling) from former Concretes singer, and fellow Swede, Victoria Bergsman. The trio's immediately catchy melodies, warm guitar washes, and danceable synth hooks endeared them to indie kids and mainstream audiences alike. The group's 2006 album, WRITER'S BLOCK, broke into the U.S. Billboard 200 and hit number one on Billboard's Heatseekers chart.

  Their song Young Folks is so catchy! I feel so happy hearing it. The video animation is a lot like the old Godzilla cartoon from the 80's. This song was also featured during the first scene of the new series Gossip Girl.
