Cheyenne Kimball
b. 27 July 1990, Frisco, Texas, USA. This precociously talented singer-songwriter made her chart debut at the age of 15, by which time she had already been performing and writing for over five years. Raised in Texas, Kimball was encouraged by her parents to begin writing her own songs at an early age. By her 10th birthday she was already proficient on the acoustic guitar and had begun performing at local shows. At the age of 12 she entered the NBC television show America's Most Talented Kid. Her talent and bubbling personality won the audience over and she was voted the winner. A major label recording contract with Epic Records was not long in following. Kimball worked on her debut album with a number of seasoned rock veterans, including songwriters Billy Mann, John Rich and Chantal Kreviazuk. The trials and tribulations of the recording process were documented on Kimball's own MTV reality show, Cheyenne. This being America in the twenty-first century, equal air time was given to following the hopes and fears of her family as they relocate to California to help make their daughter's dream of a recording career come true.
